Business Girlfriends Diva Day
Online event the last Thursday of every month. Next one is 2-25-10!
One day a month to hang out online with spirited entrepreneurial sisters for...
Business-growing friendships that feel good to your soul. Brilliant brainstorming think tank. Comfy clothes instead of suits. Miraculous goal-launching. A playful, social and productive work day.
There is a certain tribe of us out there who live hard, dream big and think out of the box - movers and shakers with sass, spark, spirit & depth. We make things happen. But we can also run ourselves into the ground if we're not careful, losing the very spark that brings our businesses to life. Sound familiar?
In all my years of being self-employed, I've found that my connection with my entrepreneurial girlfriends is the juice that keeps me in touch with my true self and goals, and continually replenishes my spirit when the chips are down. My business girlfriends have made this journey FUN! So that's what Business Girlfriends Diva Day is about - an online sanctuary to bring you new friendship, down-to-earth connection, business brainstorming, play & rejuvenation for your gorgeous business soul...
How It Works
1) When, Where, What: The last Thursday of every month, we converge from all over the world on the Business Girlfriends social network to hang out, brainstorm, work, play and replenish. We participate via live chat & forum discussions, plus we each have profile pages about our selves and our businesses. From 8:00 am to 8:00 pm CST, you can dip in & out, fitting your participation with other to-do's in your schedule.
2) A Tribe of Work Buddies: You get the company of kindred spirits all day long while you do your work! The tone of the day is relaxed, and you're in the right place if you are passionately-driven, yet not adverse to getting goofy and having a little fun. Want more details to see if you fit the profile? Click on this link to the
"Is This You?" page.
3) Brainstorm Party Forum: Oh the amazing things I've seen happen in our brainstorm forum. Ask questions that have been stumping you, get input on your ideas-in-progress, and share plans on which you'd like feedback. The wealth of knowledge & perspective amongst our members is a hotbed for a-ha's & insight.

4) Fun Forums, plus Live Chat:
• Girl Talk Forum- good ole' fashioned girlfriend bonding topics
• Grab Bag Forum- discuss hot issues, post news & share faves
• Live Chat- it rocks all day long and I've seen some crazy miracles happen in there, plus some downright rowdy and ridiculous conversation. Not to mention countless deep, earth-shaking a-ha discussions. And then there's your run of the mill just-hangin'-out stuff too, while we get our work done ;0)
5) Miracle Launcher Tele-Call: Join us at 1:30 pm EST for this 30-minute call. We'll do five Miracle Launcher steps to launch your goals for the upcoming month into the manifestation phase. Type your goals in our Miracle Launcher forum to make them official, get accountability & have us cheer you on. Go girl!
P.S. Although this is not one of those "promotion-ish, networky" events, Diva Day will likely open new doors for you and your business. It's an inevitable by-product of meaningful sisterhood & connection :0)
Here's what the network looks like. And we'll make sure you get oriented before you jump in for the first time.

Kristen Beireis of www.CoachesMarketingSource.com says...

"It's a diva entrepreneur connection playground all day! Not only did I have an AWESOME time, but I made some new friends, got brainstorming help for a money-making product name and also got some great feedback that will help me move forward. Even if members spend just 20 minutes in the chat and going through posts, then check back a few hours later for another 20 minutes, they will end up with ideas and connections they would've never had otherwise... in less than an hour!"
Jenn Givler of www.JGivlerFitness.com says...

"I wasn't sure what the experience would be, but it was fantastic and I loved it. I loved the live chat, I loved the group discussions and I loved that I was totally, utterly comfortable just being myself on the network. As for tangible benefits, I made some excellent business connections and I launched my newest business venture to incredible feedback. At one point during the day, I was thinking "I wish this was open every day..." but now that I've arrived at the next day - I'm glad it was only one day. It makes for an excitement and eagerness every month because we all know it's NOT available all the time. Thank you for creating this awesome space. I truly love it here."
Jess Reagan-Salzman of www.JessRS.com says...

"I finished a project that I might not have otherwise stuck through and also, I got a new client! It was so fun having women to hang out with while working that day!"
Jennifer Hofmann of www.InspiredHomeOffice.com says...

"I really loved the laughter - I realized that I don't do nearly enough of that. I liked the element of play and the opportunity to connect around real questions that we face as entrepreneurs. As for tangible benefits, I took the opportunity to acknowledge some big accomplishments, and to be encouraged around a particularly sticky business problem. When I work alone a lot of the time, the value of this connection is immense. I can't wait for next month and have been talking about it all day!"
Gina Loree' Marks of www.EmbodyGrace.com says...

I loved the concentrated and immediate nature of it. I was fortunate to be home that day, and I had tons to do. But having this group 'present' all day, bouncing stuff back and forth, was just so cool! I could be involved when I wanted, catch up when I had to be away, and it was all just so lively and energizing. Like a really good networking party - lots of connections and lots of support & brainstorming in the span of twelve hours. 'Twas awesome!"
Sally Kuhlman of www.SallyAroundTheBay.com says...

"I met lots of new entrepreneurial women - it was like a virtual playground. It reminded me to have fun while working and to take breaks to play. Even though we were having fun and playing, we were also getting down to serious business - we brainstormed, talked about business ideas and made some great connections."
Joanne Scharer of All Writing Matters says...

"It gave me the opportunity to connect in a way that I didn't even know I was missing. The day also gave me a huge growth opportunity - it showed me ways I was selling myself short and shed some light on how big my desire to serve, give, contribute is...a desire I've been denying in an effort to play safe. It was very powerful for me and I'm ever grateful for what I learned and will learn."
Krista-Lynn Landolfi of www.BabyTalkByTruthSerum.com says...

"You gathered a very powerful & educated group with tons of soul and really great input. In my world, many people work for others, so I have really craved to be with business owners, as they understand stuff others won't."
Michelle Shaeffer of www.CreoCommunico.com says...

"It was wonderful to find a safe space to connect with other women who understand the challenges and realities of owning a business."
